Women's Creativity Workshop
led by Virginia Wilson, Silk Painter, and Kim Wanderely

My first explorations in painting on silk

The first week - I felt the need to go bold and broad, so choose the
largest piece that had been laid out for the participants at different
work stations. For the most part, I worked standing up.
Week 2
Silk Mandala #1
Available printed on a tile, pillow and clock - See Mandala
Silk Mandala #2
Also, available printed on a tile, pillow and clock - See Mandala
This was stretched on an embroidery hoop as I worked. It needs
remounting. The background textures are from the white tissue
on yellow fabric on which I placed the silk to photograph it.
